5R Motors (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. is one of the key enterprises of Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group Co., Ltd. focusing on overseas markets. Our group has established joint ventures with several top-ranking enterprises in the world. In addition, our rich technical strength and advanced producing equipment, continuously allow us to provide excellent quality products for customers worldwide.

For the production of motors, our group operates an independent research and development department. On the basis of introducing Honda technology, it also cooperated with the Italian company Giugiaro Design and Tianjin Internal-Combustion Engine Research Institute to launch several new types of motors under our own intellectual property rights. Furthermore, we own complete assembly and production lines for engines and finished motors, which consist of imported processing centers as well as equipped with advanced inspection instruments. At present, we can produce 1,000,000 engines and 1,000,000 finished motors annually.

In addition to motors and engines, we also manufacture light-duty vehicles. Complete with pressing, welding, painting and assembly lines for light-duty vehicles, we enjoy an annual capacity of 50,000 units. This range includes light-duty trucks, mini-buses and special-function vehicles, which all adopt internationally advanced technology. As a result, this series of vehicles are especially popular among our clientele.

At 5R Motors we not only offer light-duty vehicles, but also medium sized buses, public buses and luxury tour buses. Due to our unique designs, high performance and reliable quality, we are well-known at home and have received many national, provincial and municipal awards. Our group has built up an excellent overall bus CAD system along with an advanced quality assurance testing line. It is one of the model enterprises for CAD applied projects in all the country. The backbone of this series is our large and medium-sized (7.9-12 meters) buses. In 1993, our bus company was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and was also ranked in the top 20 for bus enterprises in China by the China Machinery Enterprise Management Association in 2004.
